CHENNAI: Police have preserved the blood samples and fingerprints of a 35-year-old woman who was killed when a wall collapsed on Dr Ambedkar College Road in Pulianthope during last month's Cyclone Thane.

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry government has drawn up a massive ‘Greening Puducherry’ programme under which 2.5 lakh saplings will be planted in non-forest areas in Puducherry region, where 85 per cent of green cover was lost in cyclone Thane.
