Delta areas gear up for samba, thaladi cultivation
Thanjavur: With the state government announcing to release water from Mettur reservoir on Friday for samba cultivation, it has now been programmed to raise samba and thaladi crops on about 3.86 lakh hectares of land in delta districts of Thanjavur, Tiruarur and Nagapattinam
