Deposits withdrawn, jewel loans taken, post-Thane
CUDDALORE, February 2, 2012: Post-Thane, both nationalised and scheduled banks in the cyclone-hit districts of Cuddalore and Villupuram are reporting heavy withdrawal of deposits and rise in demand for jewel loans.
